The Teachers

Guiding You with Experience, Presence & Heart

Our international lead teachers bring many years of experience, a deep love for yoga, and a truly lived connection to the practice. Their journeys have taken them through diverse trainings and long periods of study and leading yoga teacher trainings in India, Bali, Thailand, South America and across Europe. They teach with presence, humility and heart — creating a supportive and inspiring space where you feel seen, encouraged and gently guided on your own path of growth, both as a practitioner and as a teacher.

Yogi Lovers Yoga Teachers - Evy de Malche

Evy de Malche

Lead Teacher Yin Yoga

Evy approaches yoga with curiosity, presence, gentle boundary-expansion, growth, and a sense of lightness and humor. Her yoga journey began over ten years ago when a stiff back from long hours at a desk led her to the mat. After completing her first teacher training in Thailand in 2019, she discovered the depth and transformative power of yoga and began to explore the practice more deeply.

Since then, Evy has completed over 800 hours of training in Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Pilates, Sound, and Reiki. Through teaching in a wide variety of settings — including studios, outdoor spaces, retreats, and festivals — she has learned that yoga and the art of teaching are not about perfection, but about presence, authenticity, and the willingness to explore one’s own path.

Her teaching style balances structure and playfulness, movement and stillness, as well as clear guidance with space for personal experience. Within this training, Evy will guide the Yin Yoga and Sound modules, supporting participants in deepening their understanding of slow, mindful practice and exploring how sound can enhance presence, relaxation, reflection, and transformation.

Her intention is to create a supportive and open learning environment in which participants feel encouraged to explore, practice, ask questions, and gradually develop their own authentic teaching voice.

Yogi Lovers Yoga Teachers - Kathrin Seidl

Kathrin Seidl

Lead Teacher Yoga Nidra

Kathrin Seidl is a seasoned yoga and Yoga Nidra teacher with a deep connection to holistic wellbeing and conscious living. Growing up surrounded by nature in Austria profoundly shaped her lifelong commitment to harmony between body, mind, and environment.

She has trained extensively in Yoga Nidra and Ayurveda, and brings many years of experience guiding individuals into states of deep rest, self-inquiry, and inner transformation. Kathrin’s teaching is grounded, nurturing, and rooted in both traditional wisdom and lived, embodied experience.

Through her work, she creates safe and supportive spaces that invite practitioners to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with their innate capacity for healing, balance, and awareness.

Yogi Lovers Yoga Teachers - Alexandra van Schaik

Alexandra van Schaik

Lead Teacher 200h & 300h Program

Alexandra is a dedicated and passionate holistic yoga teacher who describes herself in two words: Smiling Presence. She believes that facilitating presence and human connection lies at the heart of every practice, whether it’s a regular class, a retreat, or an in-depth yoga teacher training.

She skillfully weaves together her knowledge to help students explore and understand the true essence of yoga. Her classes are soulful, sometimes challenging, yet always centered on alignment, compassion, and individualized adaptations—ensuring that each student finds their own unique path in their practice.

She holds certifications in Ashtanga 200H, Vinyasa 500H, and Yin Yoga 100H, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her teaching. Her holistic approach is grounded in the belief that yoga is a journey through many roads and landscapes. These landscapes, whether joyful or challenging, offer invaluable insights and new perspectives on life. In 2020, she expanded her work by becoming a holistic life coach, inspired by the four foundational pillars she integrated into her own life: Movement, Nutrition, Breathwork, and Meditation.

Yoga is far more than a physical practice; it is a way of life, enriched by daily habits born from ritual—and rituals born from daily life. In short, more than ten years ago, leaving behind a degree in hospitality and tourism management to become a full-time yoga teacher felt like the right decision for her. “Teaching yoga is more than a passion; it is a gift I have received and deeply cherish. Choosing to share this gift has been one of the best decisions of my life.”
